TUKUL ARWANA
His real name is Tukul Riyanto. He has a famous name called
Tukul Arwana. He was born in Semarang, October 16, 1963.
Tukul has become a famous comedian in Indonesia since he
joined Srimulat a few years ago around 90s. Now, people knows him as a
ridiculous presenter (Bukan) Empat Mata at Trans7.
Tukul is a unique person. He introduces himself as Wong
Ndeso Rejeki Kuto (a villager but has a a good luck as a townsman).
Tukul has a funny face with a little mustache. It seems like
a catfish. His thick lips are his trade mark. They make him well-known and
entertaining.
National Monument (MONAS)
The monument and the museum is open daily from 08.00 - 15.00
Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7), everyday throughout the week, except for the
last Monday of each month, when the monument is closed. The main
Sudirman-Thamrin avenues in Jakarta lead to the Merdeka Square, where in its
center stands the National Monument (also known as Monas--Monumen Nasional)
which houses the first red-and-white flag flown at the Proclamation of Independence
on 17 August 1945. This flag has now become threadbare, and so nowadays on
Independence Day ceremonies, the original flag is taken out but only to
accompany the replica flag to be flown in front of the Merdeka Palace. The 137
meter tall National Monument is obelisk shaped, and is topped with a 14.5 meter
bronze flame coated with 32 kilograms gold leaf. Within the pedestal is a
museum depicting in diorama Indonesia’s fight for Independence as well as the
original text of the Proclamation of Independence. A lift takes visitors up to
the look-out platform at the base of the flame for a grand view of Jakarta.
Surrounding the Monument is now a park with a musical fountain, enjoyed by the
Jakarta public on Sundays for sports and recreation. Deer roam among the shady
trees in the park. Merdeka Square is the center of most important government
buildings. During Dutch colonial days here was the center of government, known
as Koningsplein or the King’s Square. The north side is dominated by the
Merdeka Palace once the home of the Dutch Governor Generals, which now also
houses the office of the President and the Cabinet. To the South is the office
of Indonesia’s Vice President, Jakarta’s Governor and provincial parliament
building, as also the American Embassy , while to the West is the National
Museum, the Constitutional Court, the Ministry for Culture and Tourism and the
Indosat building, Indonesia’s first international telecommunications company.
BROMO MOUNTAIN
Climbing mountain is my hobby. I really love this hobby
because we can enjoy the wonderful landscape created by God. Bromo montain is
one of the most beautiful and magical mountains in East Java. It is located in
Probolinggo Regency. This mountain is very interesting because you can see the
beautiful sunrise and sunset from this mountain. You can take a magical picture
from the sky above this mountain.
Beside that you can see the large field that Bromo people
call ‘Lautan Pasir’’. It is very beautiful if you see from the top of Mount
Bromo.There are also a crater in the top of montain. The visitors can make
their body warm in cold conditions of this mountain. In this crater you can see
some beautiful colors of fire and beautiful smoke going up to the sky.
Charless Babagge
Charles Babbage , who was born December 26, 1792 was a
British mathematician who first put forward the idea of a programmable computer
. Most of the developed machine can now be seen at the Science Museum London .
In 1991 , using Babbage's original plans , a machine developed differential and
the engine can function perfectly , which proves that the idea of Babbage 's
machine can indeed be implemented . Charles Babbage died October 18, 1871 at
the age of 79 years , leaving children ; Benjamin Herschel Babbage ( 1815 ) ,
Charles Whitmore Babbage ( 1817 ) , Georgiana Whitmore Babbage ( 1818 ) ,
Edward Stewart Babbage ( 1819 ) , Francis Moore Babbage ( 1821) , Dugald
Bromheald Babbage ( 1823 ) , Henry Prevost Babbage ( 1824 ) , Alexander Forbes
Babbage ( 1827 ) , Timothy grant Babbage ( 1829 ) .
At that time , calculations using mathematical tables often
have errors . Babbage wanted to develop a way of doing the calculations
mechanically , so as to reduce the calculation error is often done by humans .
At that time , Babbage was inspired by the development of calculating machines
carried out by Wilhelm Schickard , Blaise Pascal , and Gottfried Leibniz . The

Computer History begins when a British inventor Charles
Babbage completed the general principles of the use of digital computers full

Parangtritis Beach
Parangtritis beach is a one of beach in Yogyakarta. It’s
located 75km south of Yogyakarta. It is also popular beach in Yogyakarta. Every
day, especially in holiday, there are many visitors from local or foreign. The
journey can be reached by public transportation or private transportation.
There a lot of beautiful scenery. Although just a little
trees in there, but many beautiful corals in there. Beside that, the wind was
very strong. The Wave in Parangtritis beach also very big, so no one is playing
surf like in Bali Beach and a little or nothing person sail in there. When
afternoon, there are very hot. But, when morning and evening, there are very
cool. In the morning, we can see sunrise and in the evening, we can see sunset
from Parangtritis.
Parangtritis beach is very large beach. So, if we want to go
around there, we can use gig. Beside that, we can play sand beach, playing
kite, etc. There are It’s also many souvenir sellers around there. Parangtritis
beach is very beautiful, so it’s a good place for refreshing.
